Suggested Adaptations to the Traditional Voice Studio Model: The University voice studio model has traditionally included weekly one-on-one meetings in offices or practice rooms, during which the first half-hour is devoted to technical exercises and the second half-hour is dedicated to repertoire. An accompanist is usually present for the latter half of lessons in this traditional model. Many teachers also hold a weekly or bi-monthly studio class to foster a group-learning environment. The purpose of this poster is to introduce a possible alternative to the traditional University voice studio model.
